Ray Noir returns with “Breathe,” a tense electronic alt-metal anthem about imposter syndrome, self-doubt and the fear of never being enough.

The song fuses modern metal aggression with the pulse and drama of electronic club music, Breathe captures the brutal reality of living with an overactive mind, the constant inner voices that keep you trapped in your own head.

“I’ve struggled with believing in myself my whole life,” Ray explains. “Growing up gay in the alt scene, I never thought I’d have a place in it. That lack of queer representation messed with my head, but it also made me realise there is space for us, and I’m taking it.”

Breathe isn’t about escaping the darkness, it’s about surviving it, one breath at a time.
