If fashion is a religion, Ray Noir just wrote its most unhinged hymn.
Ray Noir Returns with “Label Whxre,” 2nd of April, the London-based queer alt-metal provocateur delivers a camp, couture-obsessed rave-metal banger that struts off the runway an
d straight into the pit. It’s loud. It’s filthy. And it’s dripping in designer.
Ray’s background working with Marc Jacobs and Vivienne Westwood feeds directly into the concept:
“It’s toxic, it’s ridiculous... but it’s also iconic. I’ve lived that world.”
The single also launches his upcoming EP “Gothstar” (Sept 17th), his most unapologetically queer project yet, featuring a collaboration with US gay goth artist Danny Blu.
“Label Whxre” isn’t subtle.
It’s iconic.
It’s ironic.
And it’s wearing Dior.
